Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner in Bolton

The post-holder will have completed a graduate certificate or postgraduate certificate training delivering the national curriculum for Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners.

Main duties of the job:

• The post holder will work under close case management supervision from a suitably qualified professional to provide high quality collaborative care planning as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
• The post holder will work under close clinical skills supervision from an HCPC registered clinical psychologist to provide specified psychologically-informed interventions, with a level of autonomy matched to level of demonstrated competence.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities:

• 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years.
• A graduate certificate (Level 6) or postgraduate certificate (Level 7) delivering the national curriculum for Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (Adult Specialist Mental Health).
• Experience of working with people with mental health needs gained through a graduate certificate or postgraduate certificate training with significant supervised practice.
• Experience of delivering psychologically informed interventions to service users, under appropriate supervision.
