GMMH CAMHS is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed professional to train as an IPT-A practitioner.

This 12-month full time training post combines training with clinical practice and weekly supervision on a fully funded Postgraduate Diploma course.

You will be based at Bolton CAMHS 3 days a weeks and in direct training for the other 2.

Main duties of the job

You will be based within the CAMHS services as well as attending the training course. You will be expected to complete both the clinical and academic aspects of the training course within the 12 month period.

Qualifications

  • Professional registration HCPC, NMC, SW England

Experience

  • Experience of Assessment and care planning skills, risk assessment and risk management for CYPs with mental health needs.
  • Experience of working with young people
  • Experience of working in Community CAMHS
  • Therapeutic experience

Knowledge

  • Interest in and awareness of chosen modality
