Trafford Talking Therapies - IAPT Band 6 Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Permanent Position)
Two exciting opportunities have arisen for full-time Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners within Trafford Talking Therapies. This role offers the chance to work alongside a high-performing team, supported and supervised by experienced senior staff.
Trafford Talking Therapies has a reputation for clinical excellence and professional development opportunities. The service is committed to staff wellbeing and provides high-quality supervision and guidance.
Located in the North West of England, the service covers Trafford with good transport links to Manchester and beyond.
The post holder will support the delivery of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) interventions, influence the development of Step 2 services, and develop innovative approaches to meet population needs. The role includes opportunities for audit, evaluation, networking, and liaising with wider health and social care sectors, including voluntary agencies.
Clinical responsibilities include 1:1 sessions (remote and face-to-face), C-CBT, potential group work, and telephone assessments for patients with common mental health issues. The successful candidate will work one evening per week.
