Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Partner (Health Inequalities)
We are seeking an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Partner to support the delivery of complex strategic projects aligned with the Trust’s Advancing Equity and Inclusion Strategy. This role involves partnering with senior leadership teams and business managers across the Trust to provide specialist guidance and support in developing and implementing local activities that align with the Trust’s overarching strategic direction. The successful candidate will work with colleagues both internally and externally, offering expert advice and managing a range of projects that require highly specialised knowledge.
The role involves motivating leaders to collaborate on implementing changes that will enhance equality-related performance. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders, both within and outside the organisation, to support the implementation of projects related to the NHS Equality Delivery System 2022 V3, the NHS Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES), the Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES), and the NHS Health and Care LGBTQ+ Leaders Network Inclusion Framework, among others.
Based at our Prestwich site, the role requires some travel to external meetings. The post holder will be line-managed by the team’s Head of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. We offer a hybrid working model and are open to discussing a range of flexible working options and reasonable adjustments.
This position will help establish and maintain networks with internal and external equality, diversity, and inclusion leads at both national and local levels across Integrated Care Systems (ICS). The successful candidate will share best practices and highlight areas of learning for the team and services. They will actively model our Trust Values and leadership standards based on our model, coach, care framework, and demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion by creating equitable environments.
