Overview

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a Data analyst to work within the Nursing and Professions Department. Working across the Nursing and Professions Directorate the role will involve data collection and monitoring, including the extraction of data from across various systems and sources to support reporting as required.

The postholder will have excellent analytical, organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload in a dynamic, fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Exporting, collating and manipulating large amounts of data from a wide range of sources.
  • Conducting initial analysis and presenting accurate data in formats understandable to the audience.
  • Assisting with the production of standard information reports and clinical data returns across the directorate, and distributing these to the appropriate audience.
  • Contributing to the development of dashboards or tools that enable better understanding of data to support decision-making and service monitoring.
  • Running daily, weekly and monthly reports to support the business needs of the Professions and Quality directorate.
  • Running background reports and producing data packs for weekly or monthly meetings to support ongoing quality surveillance activity and performance monitoring.

  • Excellent analytical, organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with data extraction from multiple systems and producing information reports and data returns.
