Overview

Wigan MHST is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed professional to train as a CBT practitioner.

This 12-month full time training post combines training with clinical practice and weekly supervision on a fully funded Postgraduate Diploma course.

Once qualified you will be supported to deliver some element of Cognitive Behaviour therapy as part of your role where this fits with service requirements. During training, the post-holder will work under the supervision of their employing NHS Trust to gain experience in providing one to one CBT evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems in educational settings (principally anxiety and depression).
