Your Role

Are you ready to lead the way in delivering Greater Manchester's strategic ambitions? We're looking for a dynamic Programme Manager to drive forward high-impact performance management across programmes that support the delivery of the Greater Manchester Strategy and Devolution agenda. This is a unique opportunity to work across GMCA directorates and with key partners, shaping how we track and improve performance across a wide range of policy areas. You'll lead on strategic alignment, performance tracking, and programme delivery ensuring decisions are driven by robust data and insight.

You’ll be at the heart of Greater Manchester's transformation, working with senior leaders, government departments, and local authorities to deliver change that matters. The recently launched Greater Manchester Strategy is key to the delivery of this role.

About You

You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for public service and a track record of delivering powerful performance data across complex programmes. You bring strong programme management skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders. We're looking for someone who values integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning. You'll be politically astute, resilient, and committed to improving outcomes for Greater Manchester's residents. You'll also be confident working with data, managing risk, and driving performance.
