The predicted salary is between 23600 - 31900 £ per year.

The above vacancy, operating from the Army Reserve Centre, Portsmouth Road, Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 2QX, is currently vacant and needs filling at the earliest opportunity. This is a minimum six (6) month fixed term contract with a period of three (3) months probationary period. The store person/driver, at Skills Zone 2, is employed by the Association to provide logistic support to the London District Cadet Training Team. This includes attendance at the Combined Cadet Force Central Camp in the summer.

The salary for this position, (including the London Weighting Allowance), is £27,650. The job description, including the required competencies is attached. In addition, the successful candidate is eligible to join the Association pension scheme. The annual leave entitlement is 25 days plus Bank Holidays and Association Privilege Days in accordance with RFCA Staff Regulations.

Requirements:

  • Confirmation of the right to work in the UK;
  • Completion of a medical assessment which may include a full medical examination by a qualified medical practitioner appointed and paid for by the Association;
  • Satisfactory references;
  • Successful completion of Baseline Personal Security Standards (BPSS) check;
  • Enhanced DBS check (due to working with young people);
  • Drivers Licence;
  • Agreement to sign a contract.
