The Greater London Authority is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to senior leaders within the People Function, including the Interim Assistant Director of People, Heads of Service across Strategic Resourcing & Engagement, and the Executive Director of Corporate Resources & Business Improvement. This is a pivotal role within a fast-paced and high-profile directorate that delivers key corporate services and supports the ongoing development of People services across the GLA. 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. Location: City Hall, London (within walking distance of Canning Town Underground Station and Royal Victoria DLR Station) Hybrid working arrangements available. Rate: Β£26.30 per hour PAYE or Β£34.15 per hour Umbrella As Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting senior leaders and ensuring the smooth and effective running of executive activity. Provide high-level Executive Assistant support, including complex diary management, inbox management and meeting coordination. Support financial administration processes, including purchase orders, budget monitoring and Ariba transactions. Lead the organisation and ongoing maintenance of the People Function SharePoint site. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and collaborative working platforms. Experience of governance, administration and coordination processes within a complex organisation would be advantageous. Experience using SharePoint and financial systems such as Ariba would be desirable.
