Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust is looking for two Governance Partners to support its Governance team. This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced governance professionals to maintain compliance, strengthen accountability, and collaborate with school leaders to deliver a high‐quality governance service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert oversight of governance support services in schools.
  • Work closely with Chairs of Governing Bodies, foundation governors and headteachers.
  • Ensure compliance and strengthen accountability frameworks.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver a consistent, high‐quality governance service.
  • Offer guidance and support, including minute taking at Local Governing Body meetings.

Required Background

Experienced governance professionals with a flexible and calm approach to work and the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities.

Additional Information

Postholders may need to flexibly adjust working hours and location due to meeting requirements.
