The global marketing function of Global Payments is responsible for Brand, Product Marketing, Growth and Revenue Performance for the Merchant Acquirer Solutions of Global Payments. Job Summary:
The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is a business-critical role within the Revenue Marketing organisation and will have a significant impact on revenue growth. This person will develop and orchestrate SEO / SEM marketing plans aimed at small business merchants in the UK, building and reviewing cross-sell and up-sell campaigns to the backbook and value added services. Along with coordinating in region transactional messaging to existing merchants, supporting with events and collaborating with the wider team to grow revenue from existing merchants.
This high-impact role requires a results-driven marketer who is innovative, takes initiative, and has a deep understanding of the customer. They should have extensive experience running campaigns that align with the customer decision journey and using organic and email marketing channels to drive growth and retention.
Responsibilities of our Senior Digital Marketing Manager:
- Lead integrated campaign strategy, planning, and execution for Global Payments' products, focused on growing revenue from existing merchants in the UK.
- Map customer audiences, relevant messages, content, and tactics to the customer journey, resulting in cohesive messaging plans across multi-channels.
- Build and implement the organic strategy for in-region performance improvements, creating and aligning to consistent KPIs demonstrating SEO growth for our websites.
- Develop and build content led campaigns to grow outreach to the website through localised content and thought leadership.
- Develop and implement customer lifecycle campaigns, optimising customer engagement, supporting retentions activities and aligning with that departments as a key stakeholder.
- Measure & optimise campaign & BAU performance to achieve revenue growth goals; provide recommendations to improve engagement and conversion.
- Provide ongoing performance, insights, and goal pacing to internal stakeholders and leaders.
- Work with Sales Enablement to ensure Sales teams are enabled to successfully convert engagement with welcome journey campaigns.
- Support and develop customer marketing to align with Consumer Duty, specifically Consumer Understanding.
- Collaborate with International Marketing, wider Digital Marketing, and Partner Marketing counterparts to extend campaigns into other go-to-market channels and audiences.
- Evaluate new suppliers, manage campaign budget and related supplier onboarding.
- Present campaign updates at marketing all-hands meetings and other forums on a regular basis.
- Provide regular audits to the websites and changes in search behaviour. Align with product marketing and content teams to localise copy and approach.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience ideally in B2B demand generation and growth marketing.
- Proven track record of building and executing highly engaging, revenue-driven marketing programmes.
- Demonstrated understanding of integrated campaign architecture and the customer decision journey.
- Strong relationship builder and high collaborator with Sales, marketing leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to leverage analytics, marketing automation, and CRM tools to derive campaign performance insights.
- Resourceful marketer who is self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to define and achieve objectives with limited oversight.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly when articulating findings in meaningful, clear ways to leadership stakeholders with an emphasis on actionable insights.
- Experience with payments, point of sale, or ecommerce highly preferred.
