CI/CD Platform Team at Global Payments and help shape the future of global commerce.

  • What you’ll own
  • Maintain and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure‑as‑code best practices.
  • Design, build, and operate containerized platforms using Docker and Amazon EKS.
  • Design, build, and manage CI/CD platforms and tooling, including Git Hub Enterprise Runners, Cloud Bees Jenkins, and Harness.
  • Administer and govern the Git Hub Enterprise Cloud platform to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Host and operate enterprise Git Hub runners for organization‑wide consumption by development teams.
  • Provide technical guidance, enablement, and consultation to development teams consuming the central CI/CD platform.
  • Act as a Git Hub and Git Hub Copilot SME, promoting best practices for AI‑assisted software development.
  • Work within an agile team, ensuring alignment with sprint and PI objectives; participate in code reviews, sprint retrospectives, and technical demos.
  • Contribute to or lead the development and execution of project plans, schedules, and documentation.
  • Deliver technical and decision‑seeking presentations to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the platform and engineering organization.
  • What you’ll bring
  • 5+ years as a Platform/Dev Ops/Cloud Engineer.
  • Hands‑on Git Hub administration (Enterprise Cloud governance, configuration, and enterprise‑scale enablement) or strong Linux system administration supporting production platforms.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes (container orchestration) and Terraform.
  • Hands‑on experience managing and automating AWS infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience working with Helm for Kubernetes application packaging and deployment.
  • Solid Linux fundamentals, troubleshooting, and operational support skills.
  • Proven experience designing, operating, or supporting CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and logging for distributed and cloud‑native systems.
  • Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; excellent communication and presentation skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
