Role Details
- You would be working an average of thirty-five hours per week. Your earliest shift time would be 0550 and your latest 2315, including a combination of earlies, lates and weekends.
- You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure prompt arrival for your shifts. Full training and uniform are provided.
- Please note that you must be at least eighteen years of age to apply for this role.
- Should you be successful, you would be subject to a company medical.

The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide a safe environment for our passengers whilst delivering first class customer service and creating opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Accountability for the prompt dispatch of our outbound train services.
- Responsibility for station security, including conducting regular station security checks.
- Create a welcoming environment for our passengers whilst providing proactive assistance.
- Promote first class customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Support customers with mobility impairments to ensure a smooth journey.
- Collaborate with drivers and conductors to ensure smooth communication and service.
- Comply with safety regulations, reporting faults and hazards as necessary.
- Collaborate with other areas of the business when required to ensure operational efficiency, whilst providing support and assistance to customers during disruption.
- You will be required to complete a 5-day dispatch competency course.
