We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Specialist to join our People Team and play a key role in embedding equity, inclusion and belonging across our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to influence culture, develop colleagues, and make a real, measurable difference to the experience of our people in line with GA’s Team Code.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our culture agenda, designing and delivering impactful initiatives, training and advice that bring our EDI strategy to life. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure the Greater Together principles of Greater Anglia’s Team Code are lived every day and that everyone feels respected, included and empowered to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of GA’s EDI strategy, KPIs and action plans
  • Partnering with the business to drive and champion inclusive practices across all functions
  • Designing, delivering and continually evolving GA’s flagship Greater Together workshop for managers and frontline colleagues
  • Developing a suite of engaging, bitesized culture and EDI sessions for leaders, incorporating the latest legislation and best‑practice guidance
  • Reviewing GA’s EDI data to evaluate impact of initiatives, analysing workforce data to drive future strategy
  • Producing Equality Impact Assessments (EqIAs) for policies, procedures and projects
  • Providing expert, dependable advisory support to the business on EDI‑related matters and associated communications
  • Collaborating with Greater Anglia’s developing employee network groups, coaching network chairs, and supporting inclusion events and campaigns
  • Representing the organisation externally through industry EDI forums, developing collaborative partnerships and sharing best practice
  • Supporting inclusive mentoring initiatives
  • Designing GA’s EDI lounge and learning content, keeping it fresh, innovative, relevant and engaging
  • Ensuring legal compliance, delivering audits, accreditations, industry standards and benchmarks
  • Deliver the regular EDI onboarding session

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of EDI principles, inclusive practices and relevant legislation, frameworks, and best‑practice.
  • Significant experience designing and delivering engaging EDI workshops complemented by blended learning interventions that enhance inclusive workplaces.
  • Confidence working with senior leaders, managers and frontline colleagues.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and inspire change.
  • A passion for creating inclusive cultures backed by data, insight and continuous improvement.
