Please note that we are unable to accept your application if you do not meet the following criteria.

  • 35 hours per week (shift-based, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and bank holidays)
  • You must be able to arrange your own transport for early/late shifts. Earliest shift is from 0500am, and latest shift finishes by 2300pm.
  • Full training provided and uniform provided
  • Candidates will be subject to a Right to Work check & DBS check for this position.
  • Applicants must be aged 18 and over

About the Role

In this role, as an ATG Operator, you’ll be the friendly face of Greater Anglia, delivering exceptional customer service while helping passengers travel smoothly and safely. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers at the gateline and ensuring the safe, tidy and efficient operation of the gates
  • Helping to prevent ticketless travel and fraudulent activity
  • Reporting any faults and issues promptly
