Salary: Band J (£31,983.12 - £35,006.40)

To work within East Coast College's Work Based Learning (WBL) Strategy in delivering growth and high success levels of customer satisfaction recognised by Ofsted through its grading of the provision as at least 'Good' with an expectation to be 'Outstanding'. The Vocational Trainer will work closely with the WBL delivery team and employers to ensure apprentices meet the knowledge, skills and behaviours of their programme and make the required progress to achieve as expected and within a timely manner through completing Progress Reviews in line with Government guidelines.

Key needs from you and the role:

• Manage a caseload of apprentices, ensuring timely completion of programmes through regular progress reviews, monitoring performance, attendance, and off-the-job training, while providing support where learners are at risk of falling behind.
• Work closely with employers and apprentices from enrolment through to completion, providing initial advice and guidance, programme inductions, health and safety planning, and preparation for End Point Assessment.
• Deliver ongoing training and guidance on OneFile, off-the-job training requirements, safeguarding, Prevent, equality and diversity, and personal development to support learner success and compliance.
• Build strong employer relationships, contribute to quality and compliance activities, gather learner and employer feedback, and promote safeguarding, inclusion, and continuous improvement across Work Based Learning provision.
