Location: The Place, Great Yarmouth

Hours: Variable

Contract: Permanent

Salary: VH Lecturer rate - £32.62 per hour (inclusive of holiday and admin time)

Please note that opportunities to deliver our Adult Curriculum will depend on learner numbers; as such, all roles will be offered on a variable-hours basis and will include mandatory training to ensure our commitment to quality standards and safeguarding is upheld.

East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this. East Coast College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, we therefore expect all staff to share this commitment.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service. Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
