The role involves working onboard our trains every Saturday and Sunday as a Weekend Customer Host. You will be the friendly face of GWR serving refreshments, providing a warm welcome, and making every journey memorable.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering excellent customer service, promoting and selling GWR products onboard our services.
- Providing a complimentary trolley service for First Class customers.
- Acting as an ambassador for GWR and living our values.
- Ensuring every journey is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.
- Keeping areas clean, tidy, and welcoming.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong customer service and sales experience.
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Food handling or stock rotation experience (desirable).

- Competitive salary £12,739 (pro rata) rising to £16,665.50 after probation (Full-time equivalent £25,478 rising to £33,331).
- 17.5 hours per week, every weekend.

Please note: Training will be two weeks full-time (Monday-Friday), and you must live within one hour of Worcester station.
