We are recruiting for a Talent Pool of Qualified Train Drivers who want to deliver a high-quality rail service across the GWR network. Our Qualified Train Drivers play a crucial role in setting a new standard for rail, focused on creating a relaxed, fast, efficient, and enjoyable experience for passengers. They also provide technical and operational expertise within our teams, ensuring the highest standards of service.

We pride ourselves on Safety and Customer Service and seek individuals with excellent Safety Critical records who enjoy teamwork.

About You

This role requires exceptional focus and attention to detail. Your ability to follow protocols and make critical decisions will be essential. If you enjoy working with a team, have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, and maintain a high standard in your Safety Critical history, we would love to hear from you.

Additional Information:

The application process includes an online Situational Judgement exercise, a review of the RSSB B1 Transfer of Safety Critical Information history, and a selection interview assessing key role requirements.

Essential Considerations:

Do you live within 60 minutes commuting distance of the depot? For safety reasons, you must reside within this distance and be able to attend various shifts, including weekends and nights with varying start and finish times.
