Job Title: Room Leader – 2.5 to 3.5 Year Old Room Location: Brentwood Hours: Full time, 42 hours per week over 4 days, 51 weeks per year Salary: £30,379pa Great Starts Recruitment Ltd are working with a forward-thinking Day Nursery in Brentwood, who are seeking an experienced Room Leader to take responsibility for the 2.5–3.5 year old room. About the Nursery With over a decade of experience in Forestry-based education, this nursery combines high-quality childcare with the benefits of outdoor learning. Children are encouraged to explore, Client, and thrive in a natural setting. The nursery\’s mission is to cultivate an environment where every child feels empowered, celebrated, and inspired to connect with the world around them. The Role Lead the daily running of the 2.5–3.5 year old room. Mentor and support a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality, nature-inspired learning. Plan and implement the EYFS curriculum, tailored to children\’s individual needs. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and best practice standards are always maintained. Build strong relationships with families, offering reassurance and guidance. About You Level 3 childcare qualification (essential). Previous leadership or senior practitioner experience. Excellent knowledge of EYFS and child development. Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills. Passion for early years education and the value of outdoor learning.
