We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in Hornchurch for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a brand-new, purpose-built nursery with modern facilities, including air-conditioned rooms and a large, well-resourced outdoor garden.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, child-led activities
- Ensure a safe, nurturing and stimulating nursery environment
- Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times
Hours & Working Pattern
- Contracts available for 24, 30 or 35 hours per week
- Flexible shift patterns across nursery opening hours
- All-year-round availability required
- This role is not suitable for school hours only or term-time-only candidates
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Passionate, reliable and committed to high-quality childcare
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
