NURSERY MANAGER
/n North Walsham
/n Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum
/n Age group: Nursery-wide
/n Qualification: Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
/n Start date: 7 September 2026
/n The role
/n Great Starts Recruitment is working with an Early Years setting in North Walsham to recruit an experienced Nursery Manager. This is an opportunity to lead a committed team, champion excellent practice and create an environment in which children and staff can flourish.
/n Key responsibilities
/n • Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, creating a warm, safe and ambitious environment for children and staff.
/n • Maintain high standards across safeguarding, EYFS practice, health and safety, ratios, policies and regulatory requirements.
/n • Lead, motivate and develop the team through effective supervision, coaching and performance management.
/n • Drive quality improvement and ensure the setting is well prepared for Ofsted inspection.
/n • Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community, while supporting occupancy and nursery performance.
/n What we're looking for
/n • A full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3.
/n • A sound understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
/n • Previous leadership or senior Early Years experience appropriate to the level of the role.
/n • Confident communication, organisation and team-leadership skills.
