Hours: Flexible shifts between 08:00–18:30, Monday to Friday

Pay: Β£12.50-Β£16.00/Hour

About the Role:

We are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Practitioners to join our agency supply team in the North Walsham area. You will be supporting a well-established early years setting with high standards of care, strong team values, excellent indoor and outdoor environments, and a child-centred approach to learning. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy flexible work, want to choose their shifts, or are looking to gain experience in a variety of early years environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm, engaging, high-quality care for children aged 0–5.
  • Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
  • Help maintain a stimulating, safe and inclusive environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the existing team to ensure ratios and routines are maintained.
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies at all times.
  • Adapt quickly to different rooms, age groups and routines.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification (Preferred but not required).
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • A positive, professional and flexible approach.
  • Reliable and able to pick up shifts at short notice.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
  • Understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
