NURSERY PRACTITIONER
/n Forest Gate
/n Salary: Β£27,000βΒ£28,500 per annum
/n Age group: 2β3 years
/n Qualification: Level 2 Early Years qualification or above
/n Start date: 7 September 2026
/n The role
/n Great Starts Recruitment is working with an Early Years setting in Forest Gate to recruit a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to work with children aged 2β3 years. You will play a hands-on role in creating meaningful learning experiences and helping every child feel safe, confident and supported.
/n Key responsibilities
/n β’ Provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.
/n β’ Plan and deliver age-appropriate experiences in line with the EYFS and children's individual interests and needs.
/n β’ Act as a key person where required, supporting observations, assessments and children's next steps.
/n β’ Follow safeguarding, health and safety, hygiene and nursery policies at all times.
/n β’ Build warm, professional relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues and contribute positively to the wider team.
/n What we're looking for
/n β’ A full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 2 or above.
/n β’ A sound understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
/n β’ A caring, reliable and proactive approach, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
/n β’ Experience working with children aged 2β3 years is desirable.
