Nursery Chef in Ilford

Nursery Chef – Monday to Friday (9am-3pm)

Salary: £12.50-£14 per hour

Term-Time Only or All Year Round

About the Role:

• Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5
• Follow dietary needs, allergies and portion guidelines
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Work closely with the Nursery Manager to plan weekly menus
• Ensure all food safety standards are met

Hours:

Monday to Friday

9:00am – 3:00pm

Term-time only or all-year-round contract available

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cook/chef (nursery or school setting ideal)
• Knowledge of food hygiene, allergens, and safe kitchen practices
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
