Great Starts Recruitment are currently recruiting for multiple Level 3 Nursery Practitioners / Senior Nursery Practitioners to join a high-quality Early Years nursery in South Woodford and Woodford Green. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Educator, Nursery Nurse or Nursery Practitioner looking to progress within a supportive, well-established nursery group.
Key Information- Full-time, permanent role
- 36 hours over 4 days or 45 hours over 5 days
- Shifts between 8am–6pm
- Salary up to £33,400 per year
- Performance bonus up to £2,000
As a Nursery Nurse / Early Years Educator, you will deliver high-quality childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will support children’s learning, development and well-being while ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with EYFS
- Support children’s development against Early Learning Goals
- Act as a Key Person, completing observations and assessments
- Monitor progress and support individual learning needs
- Support children with SEN, EAL and additional needs
- Build strong parent partnerships and communicate effectively
- Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment
- Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
- Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding Early Years practice
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification (essential)
- Minimum 1 year nursery or Early Years experience
- Strong knowledge of EYFS framework
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
- Paediatric First Aid (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Must live locally or be able to travel to Woodford/South Woodford
- No sponsorship available
- Up to £33,400 salary
- Up to £2,000 performance bonus
