The role
Great Starts Recruitment is working with an Early Years setting in Dagenham to recruit a warm, enthusiastic Early Years Educator to work with children aged 0–2 years.
You will play a hands-on role in creating meaningful learning experiences and helping every child feel safe, confident and supported.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate experiences in line with the EYFS and children's individual interests and needs.
- Act as a key person where required, supporting observations, assessments and children's next steps.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, hygiene and nursery policies at all times.
- Build warm, professional relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues and contribute positively to the wider team.
What we're looking for
- A full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 2 or above.
- A sound understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.
- A caring, reliable and proactive approach, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with children aged 0–2 years is desirable.
