Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking for a rewarding leadership role with family-friendly hours? We are currently recruiting for a Preschool Manager to lead the day-to-day running of a welcoming preschool setting based in Stanford-le-Hope, Thurrock. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised childcare professional with previous leadership experience within an Early Years setting.
Working Hours
- Tuesday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
- Wednesday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
- Thursday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 3:45pm
Salary & Benefits

Preschool Manager Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the preschool
- Leading and supporting staff within the setting
- Ensuring the setting remains compliant with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Maintaining high standards of childcare, learning, and development
- Supporting children's learning through a safe and nurturing environment
- Building positive relationships with parents, carers, and outside professionals
- Managing planning, observations, and general administration
Requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years
- Minimum 2 years' leadership or management experience within a nursery or preschool setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and early education
