Overview
The Director of Leisure & Entertainment Sales plays a key role in elevating the brand and creating extraordinary guest experiences. This position is designed for a dynamic and strategic sales leader with expertise in luxury hospitality and entertainment. Responsible for managing transient and group sales within the leisure and entertainment segments, the role involves fostering relationships with industry stakeholders and driving revenue growth.
What you will do as Director of Leisure & Entertainment Sales:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive leisure and entertainment sales strategy to drive revenue and market penetration.
- Identify and target key markets, including high-net-worth individuals, travel agencies, corporate groups, entertainment companies, and special event organizers.
- Execute sales action plans focused on entertainment, music, touring, film, sporting markets, and leisure travel, particularly in the U.S., while also supporting growth in Europe, GCC, Australia, LATAM, and Asia.
- Curate and execute exclusive, unforgettable events for luxury clients, including private concerts, celebrity appearances, and unique entertainment experiences.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with VIP clients, celebrities, influencers, travel advisors, and entertainment industry professionals.
- Develop strategic partnerships with luxury travel agencies, entertainment agencies, and event planners to secure high-profile bookings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for luxury clients, delivering bespoke experiences and high-touch sales efforts to secure repeat business.
- Assist in the seamless execution of media movie previews (junkets), talent handling, and coordination with internal departments.
About you:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a high-pressure and dynamic environment.
- Strong track record in sales, preferably within the entertainment and luxury hospitality industry.
- Deep understanding of the entertainment market and experience managing high-profile clients.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- Passion for luxury hospitality and a keen understanding of high-net-worth client expectations.
