Duties and responsibilities related to the Restaurant Manager role
- Lead the front-of-house operation of Ekstedt at The Yard, working in close partnership with the Head Sommelier and Head Chef.
- Deliver a seamless, refined, and highly personalized dining experience aligned with Michelin-star aspiration and Forbes 5-Star standards.
- Own and deliver the Ekstedt at The Yard restaurant concept, ensuring consistency with its culinary vision and luxury positioning.
- Lead the dining room operation, welcoming and engaging guests while anticipating preferences and managing service recovery with professionalism and discretion.
- Partner closely with the Sommelier and Head Host to lead service standards, team performance, and guest satisfaction.
- Work in close coordination with the Head Chef and culinary brigade to integrate chef-led tableside presentations seamlessly into the service flow.
- Oversee reservations, table allocation, and guest flow to maximize service efficiency, experience quality, and revenue.
- Recruit, train, coach, and inspire the front-of-house team, fostering a culture of continuous development, storytelling, and confident upselling.
- Monitor and elevate service standards using Michelin and Forbes criteria, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and labor regulations.
- Contribute to the restaurant’s commercial success through upselling initiatives, guest recognition, and repeat-visit strategies.

- Commercial awareness, with experience managing rotas, service flow, and revenue performance.
