Duties and responsibilities related to the Groups & Events Sales Executive position include:
- Provide clients with expert knowledge of the hotel’s products, services and event spaces.
- Support proactive and reactive groups and events sales enquiries across all segments including Corporate, Social, Conference and MICE.
- Prepare meeting and events proposals, contracts, BEOs and manage group rooming lists using Envision and Reserve.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Revenue, Food & Beverage and operational teams to maximise revenue and enhance the hotel’s brand profile.
- Assist with client show rounds, office visits, FAM trips, trade shows and post-event follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate sales data, assist with sales and competitor reports and engage in market research activities.
- Support the development and execution of groups and events sales strategies and action plans.
About you
You are highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced sales environment. You have experience supporting groups, events or hotel sales operations and are confident communicating with clients and internal stakeholders. You demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, enjoy working collaboratively across departments and are proactive in identifying sales opportunities. You are comfortable working with sales systems and reports, bring a flexible and positive attitude, and are motivated to grow and develop your career within hotel sales.
