Governors are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to provide support in the Early Years Foundation Stage provision. Candidates must have full NVQ Level 3 or above Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent qualification in a directly relevant area).

Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching &/or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs.
  • Candidates must demonstrate the skills of enabling access to learning for all pupils.
  • You will assist and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques in Early Years.
  • Experience in supporting pupils with special educational needs would be an advantage.
