What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out all aspects of joinery, including repairing UPVC windows, repairing UPVC/composite doors, replacing double glazed units, and overhauling kitchens
- Delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work, achieving first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis and effective multi-trade working
- Attending and completing all required training, toolbox talks, and e-learning modules
- Communicating professionally and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders
- Carrying out work safely and professionally, ensuring customers' homes are left clean and secure
- Using PDA/mobile technology to receive, update, and manage repair jobs efficiently
- Producing accurate records, including before-and-after photographs and detailed job notes
What you'll need:
- NVQ Level 2 in Joinery (or equivalent qualification/experience)
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Experience working in domestic properties, ideally within housing (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to carry out basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering to support first time fix and value for money
- A customer-focused approach with pride in delivering high-quality work
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues
- Reliable, professional, and committed to safe working practices
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teams
