Salary: £35,732
Location: Stockport & Cheshire
Working pattern: 39 hours per week – 8:00am–4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am–3:30pm Friday, out of hours cover in line with rota with an out of hours payment, paid overtime opportunities available (subject to business need).

What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver a high-quality plumbing repairs service across domestic properties, including bathrooms, sinks, taps and drainage systems
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality, productivity and safety
- Attending and completing all required training, toolbox talks, and e-learning modules
- Communicating professionally and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders
- Carrying out work safely and professionally, ensuring customers’ homes are left clean and secure
- Using PDA/mobile technology to receive, update, and manage repair jobs efficiently
- Producing accurate records, including before-and-after photographs and detailed job notes
What you’ll need:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent
- Full UK manual driving licence
- A customer-focused approach with pride in delivering high-quality work
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues
- Reliable, professional, and committed to safe working practices
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teams

For the purposes of our van fleet insurance you must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence, be over the age of 21 and complete an online driver monitoring assessment prior to starting your role. If you are under 21 but with 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence you would be required to complete an online driver monitoring assessment and additional in vehicle assessment prior to starting your role funded by Great Places.
