What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the clearance of properties at the end of tenancies, including removal of household items and waste
- Cleaning and preparing void properties to a high standard, ensuring they are safe and ready for trade operatives
- Carrying out mould treatment, minor damp prevention works, and removing damaged decorations
- Clearing and maintaining internal and external areas, including gardens, and removing waste from other trades for appropriate disposal
- Maintaining accurate waste disposal records in line with policies and procedures
- Treating customers’ homes with respect, working safely at all times, and reporting any concerns
- Looking after equipment, ensuring it is clean, safe, and in good working order
- Attending and completing all required training, toolbox talks, and e-learning modules
- Communicating professionally and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders
- Carrying out work safely and professionally, ensuring customers’ homes are left clean and secure
- Using PDA/mobile technology to receive, update, and manage repair jobs efficiently
- Producing accurate records, including before-and-after photographs and detailed job notes
What you’ll need:
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Comfortable working in a physically active and practical environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues
- Reliable, professional, and committed to safe working practices
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teams
- Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but is not essential
