Responsibilities:
- Carrying out all aspects of joinery, including repairing UPVC windows, repairing UPVC/composite doors, replacing double glazed units, and overhauling kitchens.
- Delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work, achieving first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis and effective multi-trade working.
- Attending and completing all required training, toolbox talks, and e-learning modules.
- Communicating professionally and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Joinery (or equivalent qualification/experience).
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Experience working in domestic properties, ideally within housing (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to carry out basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering to support first time fix and value for money.
- A customer-focused approach with pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues.
- A commitment to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist in the communities in which we work. We particularly value lived experience in social housing.
