You will be supporting the Planning Officers with the effective planning and co-ordination of the repairs service. To maximise productivity, ensuring appointments are made and kept and right first time across our in-house operational resource. Sustaining a strong customer focus, ensuring service standards are maintained to increase customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing as an Apprentice at Great Places:
- Proactively manage repairs for in-house operatives to maximise productivity and reduce/recover out of target jobs.
- Ensure appointments are made and kept within agreed service standards and KPIs, keeping customers informed with any changes to the schedule within a timely manner.
- Schedule jobs based on priority, skill set, availability, location and customer needs, utilising relevant contractors when required.
- Update housing management and scheduling systems with accuracy in record keeping in real time.
- Point of contact for colleagues for repair related queries ensuring effective use of the telephony system for both inbound and outbound calls with a professional manner.
- Maintain a strong customer focus to promote excellence in customer satisfaction and enable first time fix resolution wherever possible.
- Working to support the wider planning team as and when required.

- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as using your own initiative and time management skills to deliver tasks on time.
- Commitment to observe and comply with all policies/procedures/working practices/regulations and in particular Great Places Equality and Diversity Policy, Health and Safety Policy and Safeguarding Policy.
