The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Part time - 21 hours. To enhance our current provision and to ensure our customers are receiving a consistent and high level of support both on scheme and in the community, we are looking for a Wellbeing Co-Ordinator to work alongside our current team. The primary duties of our Wellbeing Co-Ordinator is to arrange groups and activities which residents can engage with and develop their independence in the community; promoting independence and getting them ready to move into their own accommodation. You will also be expected to liaise with our community investment team as well as external providers to source funding and support for internal activities. There will also be an expectancy to work alongside the wider team to adhere to customers support plans, particularly around community integration and ensuring customers feel confident to move into independent living from supported accommodation. You will also need to be trauma informed and have experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs as there will be a need to work with our customers to ensure activities are co-produced.

  • You will have experience of gaining funding from various streams, both internally and externally.
  • You have an ability to engage customers, both within our schemes and the communities which we live, ultimately promoting their strengths; resulting in the confidence to move on and live independently.
  • As an activities coordinator, you will be outgoing and engaging with our residents, encouraging them to feedback what activities they would like to be facilitated at the scheme and exploring future opportunities.
  • You will have a good understanding of Safeguarding; ensuring concerns are dealt with promptly and in line with policies and procedures.
  • Using a multi-agency approach, you will ensure appropriate action is taken to adequately manage any presenting risks, working with the wider team to feedback any ongoing concerns.
  • Promoting activities and developing promotional materials and advertising events to our residents.
  • Keeping track of activity-related records and reports, noting trends and what is getting the best response from our residents.
  • You will have a person centred approach and a strong ability to understand complex situations, with the knowledge base to access relevant support services.
  • You will have high level of resilience with a positive, customer focused approach.

  • Experience of engaging with customers with multiple, complex needs.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment, with a proven ability of delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Experience of administration and recording, with an in depth understanding of confidentiality.
  • Ability to engage and to build relationships with partner agencies and external stakeholders, utilising a multi-agency approach to support.
  • Ability to act as an Ambassador for Great Places and the service.
  • Experience of implementing safeguarding procedures to protect vulnerable people.
  • Demonstrable coaching skills in promoting independence.
  • Experience of Microsoft Office applications, with a good level of IT literacy.
