The predicted salary is between 35732 - 35732 € per year.

Salary: £35,732

Location: Manchester, Trafford & Tameside

Working pattern: 39 hours per week – 8:00am–4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am–3:30pm Friday, out of hours cover in line with rota with an out of hours payment, paid overtime opportunities available (subject to business need).

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out all aspects of joinery, including repairing UPVC windows, repairing UPVC/composite doors, replacing double glazed units, and overhauling kitchens
  • Delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work, achieving first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis and effective multi-trade working
  • Attending and completing all required training, toolbox talks, and e-learning modules
  • Communicating professionally and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders
  • Carrying out work safely and professionally, ensuring customers’ homes are left clean and secure
  • Using PDA/mobile technology to receive, update, and manage repair jobs efficiently
  • Producing accurate records, including before-and-after photographs and detailed job notes

What you’ll need:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Joinery (or equivalent qualification/experience)
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Experience working in domestic properties, ideally within housing (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to carry out basic plumbing, tiling, patch plastering to support first time fix and value for money
  • A customer-focused approach with pride in delivering high-quality work
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to safe working practices
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teams
