What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out general building repairs including brickwork, paving, fencing, gates, unblocking drains, and associated works
- Attending and completing all required training, toolbox talks, and e-learning modules
- Communicating professionally and empathetically with customers, colleagues, and local stakeholders
- Carrying out work safely and professionally, ensuring customers' homes are left clean and secure
- Using PDA/mobile technology to receive, update, and manage repair jobs efficiently
- Producing accurate records, including before-and-after photographs and detailed job notes
What you'll need:
- NVQ level 2 is desirable however not essential, or equivalent recognised competency in Bricklaying/General Building
- Experience in the built environment, ideally across multiple trades
- Core trade experience in joinery, with working knowledge of plumbing, plastering and tiling
- Full UK manual driving licence
- A customer-focused approach with pride in delivering high-quality work
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support colleagues
- Reliable, professional, and committed to safe working practices
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teams
