Starting salary £30,632, increasing to £32,245 upon successful completion of 6 month probation

Permanent, Fulltime

You will deliver a wide range of responsive maintenance activities to a diverse customer baseand deliver excellent customer service.

  • Starting salary £30,632 rising to £32,245 on successful completion of 6 month probation period
  • Fylde Coast
  • 39 hour week, working hours 8am-4:30pm Monday -Thursday & 8am-3:30pm on Friday
  • Start at 26 days annual leave, increasing up to 30 days plus bank holidays
  • Van, Fuel card, Uniform & Tools provided
  • Key must haves full clean driving licence, experience in the built environment

What you\’ll be doing

  • You willundertake the correct diagnosis and method of responsive maintenance to achieve a first time fix and outstanding customer satisfaction
  • You willcontribute to and use the criteria and scope for responsive repairs to maximise use of the available expenditure
  • You will contribute to and use the relevant mobile working solution for job allocation, data transfer and collection
  • You willadopt a flexible responsive maintenance service between the core working hours (currently Monday to Friday 8.00am 6.00pm) and an out of hours service at all other times
  • You willprovide a high level of customer service at all times, behaving in a respectful, courteous and polite manner to internal and external customers when representing Great Places Housing Group
  • You willfollow the Groups equal opportunities policies and practices and promote cultural diversity across all aspects of the teams work.
  • You willundertake and contribute to a competence based framework through specific training and development initiatives

What you\’ll need

  • NVQ level 2 is desirable however not essential, or equivalent recognised competency in Bricklaying/General Building
  • At least three years in the built environment, across multi-trades
  • Evidence of delivering first class customer service in responsive maintenance
  • Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
  • Organisation and ability to time-manage work load
