General Builder
Fylde Coast
Starting salary £30,632, increasing to £32,245 upon successful completion of 6 month probation
Permanent, Fulltime
You will deliver a wide range of responsive maintenance activities to a diverse customer baseand deliver excellent customer service.

- 39 hour week, working hours 8am-4:30pm Monday -Thursday & 8am-3:30pm on Friday
- Start at 26 days annual leave, increasing up to 30 days plus bank holidays

What you\’ll be doing
- You willundertake the correct diagnosis and method of responsive maintenance to achieve a first time fix and outstanding customer satisfaction
- You willcontribute to and use the criteria and scope for responsive repairs to maximise use of the available expenditure
- You will contribute to and use the relevant mobile working solution for job allocation, data transfer and collection
- You willadopt a flexible responsive maintenance service between the core working hours (currently Monday to Friday 8.00am 6.00pm) and an out of hours service at all other times
- You willprovide a high level of customer service at all times, behaving in a respectful, courteous and polite manner to internal and external customers when representing Great Places Housing Group
- You willfollow the Groups equal opportunities policies and practices and promote cultural diversity across all aspects of the teams work.
- You willundertake and contribute to a competence based framework through specific training and development initiatives
What you\’ll need
- NVQ level 2 is desirable however not essential, or equivalent recognised competency in Bricklaying/General Building
- At least three years in the built environment, across multi-trades
- Evidence of delivering first class customer service in responsive maintenance
- Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
- Organisation and ability to time-manage work load
