Location: Blackpool

Salary: Starting salary £30,633, increasing to £32,245 upon successful completion of 6 month probation

You will deliver a wide range of responsive maintenance activities to a diverse customer baseand deliver excellent customer service. You will achieve a first time fix through correct diagnosis, multi-tradeworkingand an effective relationship with the supply chain. You will liaise with Customers, the Repairs Field Manager, supply chain colleagues, Customer Servicesstaffand multi-trade workforce. You willadopt and promote the Great Places operating principles for Responsive Maintenance within a multi-trade team.

  • 39 hour week, working hours 8am-4:30pm Monday -Thursday & 8am-3:30pm on Friday
  • Start at 26 days annual leave, increasing up to 30 days plus bank holidays
  • Van, Fuel card, Uniform & Tools provided
  • Key must haves full clean driving licence, experience in the built environment

Whatyou\’llbe doing

  • You willundertake the correct diagnosis and method of responsive maintenance to achieve a first time fix and outstanding customer satisfaction
  • You willcontribute to and use the criteria and scope for responsive repairs to maximise use of the available expenditure
  • You will contribute to and use the relevant mobile working solution for job allocation, datatransferand collection
  • You willadopt a flexible responsive maintenance service between the core working hours (currently Monday to Friday 8.00am 6.00pm) and an out of hours service at all other times
  • You willprovide a high level of customer service at all times, behaving in a respectful,courteousand polite manner to internal and external customers whenrepresentingGreat Places Housing Group
  • You willfollow the Groups equal opportunities policies and practices and promote cultural diversity across all aspects of the teams work.
  • You willundertake and contribute to acompetence basedframework through specific training and development initiatives

Whatyou\’llneed

  • NVQ level 2 is desirable however not essential, or equivalent recognised competency in Bricklaying/General Building
  • At least three years in the built environment, across multi-trades
  • Evidence of key competencies specifically in Joinery (core trade) plumbing, plastering, and tiling
  • Evidence of delivering first class customer service in responsive maintenance
  • Working with the supply chain associated with responsive maintenance
  • Working with a multi-disciplined services delivery team (within the built environment)
  • Use of full range of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to complete tasks inan accurateandtimelymanner when working under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Effective liaison with staff/other stakeholders to give information/find information/resolve problems
  • Organisation and ability to time-managework load
  • Able to deliver a high standard of customer service
  • The ability to develop and project a positive image of Great Places through personal,writtenand oral skills
