As Facilities & Estates Working Supervisor, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety and repair to our estates, blocks and schemes through the supervision of our Caretaker team. You will work within the Repairs team but also closely with colleagues across the Customer Services Directorate to ensure our estates and communal areas are safe, well‑maintained, and welcoming for residents and visitors. Covering Blackpool, Blackburn, Preston, Southport and Lancaster.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and supervise a team of caretakers, ensuring workloads are effectively planned, prioritised, and monitored.
- Carry out and oversee block and communal cleaning to a high standard, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, handrails, balustrades, and light fittings.
- Monitor estates and schemes for cleanliness, safety hazards, and compliance, taking action or reporting issues such as disrepair.
