The Employee Services Desk is at the centre of the HR and Organisational Development function, providing comprehensive transactional and advisory support across all stages of the employee lifecycle. The team is responsible for processing employee changes within ESR, managing pay-related amendments, and ensuring compliance monitoring is conducted effectively and accurately. In addition, the team oversees the honorary contract process, including the onboarding, administration, and ongoing monitoring of a large honorary workforce, ensuring all regulatory and organisational requirements are met.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in an HR or customer service environment and possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You will be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting deadlines. A proactive and customer-focused approach is essential. Strong IT skills are required, including experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Experience with TRAC and ESR systems would be advantageous.

Main duties of the job:

- You’ll be responsible for processing HR transactions, staff changes, compliance, creating letters, responding to queries and data entry.

- A good working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Experience of using TRAC and ESR would be an advantage.
The Employee Services Team will provide transactional and advisory HR support to all employees across the Trust. The team will support all the stages of employment including onboarding, all employment changes and payroll and manage all compliance monitoring.

Education & Qualifications:
- Educated to 5 GCSEs level grades A-C including English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Level 2/3 Apprenticeship qualification in Business Administration or other subject.
- Administrative Qualification and/or equivalent experience.
Skills & abilities:
- Demonstrated experience of Information Technology such as databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the Trust, applicants, external organisations and providers.
- Ability to process personal and sensitive information accurately in line with GDPR and Information Governance Guidelines.
- Ability to prioritise workload independently and effectively to meet Deadlines/KPIs.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

- Knowledge of systems and procedures.
