Job Title: Band 5 Chaplain – Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care Team
We are seeking a Band 5 Chaplain to join the Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care Team, providing pastoral, spiritual, and religious support to patients, families, and staff within the Trust.
Main Duties
Under the authority of the Lead Chaplain and Head of Spiritual Care, and managed by a Senior Chaplain, the postholder will:
- Develop skills to maintain high-quality service in a paediatric context, adhering to national, Trust, and Team standards and objectives. Gain understanding of Spiritual Care policies and work confidently within them.
- Be authorized and/or in good standing with an appropriate faith or belief group willing to endorse your role.
- Have appropriate faith/belief community training and specialized knowledge of your faith/belief traditions, especially regarding illness, death, and dying, to offer suitable spiritual, religious, or pastoral support.
