We are seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Practitioner to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis (funded until March 2027). The successful candidate will support the delivery of a portfolio of service evaluation and clinical research studies within the NHS Children and Young People’s Gender Service (London). Ideal candidates will have experience in quantitative or qualitative research , preferably with children or adolescents, especially those who are gender questioning. They will be involved in service improvement and design, working objectively in a highly scrutinized environment while focusing on delivering optimal care for children and young people, aligned with the new service specifications. The post holder will: Support research clinics and organize study-related care. Identify strategies for recruiting research participants. Perform clinical assessments according to accepted standards. Communicate effectively with study and clinical teams to ensure a positive participant experience. Complete case report forms, manage site files, and maintain databases. Order study supplies. Adhere to relevant regulations and SOPs, including GCP, Medicines for Human Use Regulations, Research Governance Framework, and the Human Tissue Act to ensure participant well-being.
