Location: Kirkham, Lancashire
Salary: £27,550 – £28,950 per annum (with potential to progress Climbing Arborist £29,000 – £31,950 per annum)
Great Oaks Tree Services Ltd is looking for a recently or soon-to-be qualified Arborist to join our team in Kirkham, Lancashire. If you have a passion for working with trees and are eager to develop your skills in a supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.
We welcome applications from candidates with some industry climbing experience, including those who have recently/nearly completed training and are looking for their first full-time role in arboriculture. Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- NPTC certification
Qualifications
- Level 2 Certificate of Competence (CoC) in Chainsaw Maintenance and Crosscutting (CS30) or an industry-recognised equivalent
- Level 2 CoC in Felling and Processing Small Trees under 380mm (CS31) or an industry-recognised equivalent
- Level 2 CoC in Woodchipper Operations or an industry-recognised equivalent
- Level 2 CoC in Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue (CS38) or an industry-recognised equivalent
- Level 3 CoC in the Use of Chainsaws from Ropes and Harness or an industry-recognised equivalent
- Level 3 CoC in Aerial Tree Rigging or an industry-recognised equivalent
- Level 3 Academic Qualification in Arboriculture or a related industry, or a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification in Arboriculture
Candidates currently undergoing training or studying at college are welcome to apply. However, continued employment will be subject to successfully achieving the required qualifications during a probationary period.
