Join our team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Relationship Manager (Major Gifts & Legacies) to help grow one of the most important areas of fundraising for the Great North Air Ambulance Service. This is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful relationships with individuals who share our passion for saving lives.
You’ll manage a portfolio of existing major donors, identify new supporters and provide exceptional stewardship that encourages long-term support for our charity. Major gifts and legacy donations play a vital role in helping us continue to provide life-saving pre-hospital emergency care across the North. Working within our Philanthropy team, you’ll support the development of our major donor programme by managing relationships with high-value supporters, creating personalised engagement opportunities and helping secure significant donations that will make a lasting impact.
This role offers the opportunity to meet inspiring people, attend fundraising events and work closely with colleagues across the charity to deliver exceptional supporter journeys.
What you’ll be doing:
- As Relationship Manager, you’ll build and develop relationships with existing major donors while identifying and engaging new supporters who have the potential to make a lasting impact on our life-saving service.
- Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, you’ll create personalised stewardship plans, arrange supporter meetings and events, and deliver exceptional experiences that encourage long-term support.
- You’ll also work alongside colleagues across Fundraising and Marketing to develop engaging communications and strengthen our major donor programme.
- You’ll maintain accurate records, monitor fundraising performance and identify new opportunities for growth, helping ensure every supporter interaction reflects the professionalism, care and commitment of the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
