A lovely family based near Great Missenden are looking for a one day a week (or split over two mornings a week) cleaner, to help support their existing housekeeper in a six bedroomed farmhouse. Possibly more hours available.
The ideal candidate will be experienced and meticulous, with strong attention to detail, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation. Someone with initiative who is trustworthy, hard working and cheerful, and who works to a very high standard.
Regular duties will include:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the house and associated outbuildings on the property
- Regularly cleaning and/or vacuuming floors
- Regularly dusting and polishing surfaces (including bookcases, mirrors and frames)
- Changing bed linen
- Cleaning bathrooms to a high standard
- Assisting housekeeper with periodic tasks or “projects”, such as spring cleaning, flipping mattresses
- Washing, drying and ironing of laundry where necessary
- Collection of rubbish and items for recycling from around the house and putting the same in the appropriate external bins
Essential requirements:
- Fluent English speaker
- Cleaning experience in private households
- High standard of work
- Locally based in Buckinghamshire
- Ideally a driver with a clean driving license
- Current DBS check
- Excellent 5 year checkable references, two verbal
- Animal friendly
