Location: Church House, Great Malvern Priory, Malvern, WR14 2AY

Salary: £37,000

37.5 hours per week, which will include some weekend and evening working as necessary (e.g. attendance at some meetings). Core hours, based on the Priory site, would be expected to be 10.00 to 16.00 each working day.

The Operations Manager is a key member of staff with primary responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Priory including:

  • Management of the paid staff team and a large number of volunteers in a variety of roles
  • Booking and facilitation of external bookings and events
  • Development and implementation of policy (including safeguarding)
  • Working with the Vicar, Churchwardens and PCC to develop and deliver the Priory’s vision

Purpose of Role:

The core purposes of the Operations Manager role are:

  • To successfully manage the operations, business and administrative aspects of the Priory.
  • To effectively lead and manage the Priory’s paid staff.
  • To work with the Vicar, Churchwardens and PCC to develop and deliver a Vision and Strategy for the Priory.

Annual Leave: 25 days annually plus statutory.
